High Society - S01E13 - The Family Jewels

The Nanny, Season 3, Episode 21 - Where’s The Pearls? has Fran losing her memory and Elizabeth Taylor’s black pearls. But that episode was part of an entire night, (Elizabeth) Taylor Made Monday. During the subsequent three shows that evening, the story line of the pearls was continued.

The next episode was Can’t Hurry Love - The Elizabeth Taylor Episode (S01E19):

Annie’s riding the same cab as Fran and finds the pearls and takes them. She wears them on a date and loses them. She later learns that they belong to Elizabeth Taylor. She then goes to a department store with Didi and goes into a dressing room and learns Elizabeth Taylor is there. Didi wants to see her but Annie doesn’t want to that’s when Didi blurts out that Annie lost her necklace not knowing that she’s also there. (plot synopsis from IMDB)

The evening then continued with Murphy Brown - Trick or Retreat (S08E18):

Elizabeth Taylor cancels her interview with Murphy, because the police have a lead on her stolen pearls. Jim stops by for a chance to meet Miss Taylor. Meanwhile, Miles wants the team to stop torturing Miller. Miles asks Jim for a bit of advice and he suggests a retreat. So Miles takes the team north to get them to work together as a team.

And the pearls were finally returned in High Society - The Family Jewels (S01E13) (no synopsis).

At the end of High Society there was a scene with Maxwell and Fran back in the Sheffield mansion, finally tying up the story with the pearls being returned. Or did were they?
